The mother of 298kg Jason Holton, who has been dubbed Britain’s fattest man by journalists, has demanded that the UK National Health Service allocate funds from the budget for injections to help him lose weight. This is reported by the publication The Sun.

Leisa Holton detailed her son’s story. She admitted that she may have been too soft on him: first, she failed to dissuade him from too fatty school lunches, and then failed to do anything about his addiction to fast food. Leisa suggests that her son’s behavioural problems may also have been caused by the loss of his father at the age of three.

He’s very prone to addictions and I was too soft on him. I’ve always been soft. But I’m not sure I could have done anything differently because he wouldn’t have listened to me. He only did what he wanted to do. It would have been so much easier if his father had been alive…..
