India wants to ban sales of older iPhones

Also in 2023, Apple produced in India 12-14 per cent of all smartphones. Reuters journalists estimate that if the company reduces the number of iPhones produced in the region, it will not reach certain production volumes and, in turn, will not be able to count on tax incentives. At the moment in India believe that the new law will come into force from June 2025.

Earlier it became known that in Russia set an absolute record for smartphone sales – since the beginning of the year sold more than 27 million devices. For comparison, in the first 11 months of 2022, 22 million devices were sold.
